Primo Piano Ristorante & Pizzeria

First time we have been to Leek. Went for lunch at Primo Piano Ristorante and had homemade meatballs on spaghetti. Heaven on a plate, absolutely devine. The best meatballs I have tasted in many years. Will have to go back for a visit.

Visited today for lunch with my wife & son. All 3 meals were absolutely spot on excellent. Service polite friendly not rushed but attentive. Very high standard nice cosy environment will be going again soon!

The White Lion

First time we have been and it was Awesome, when entering was welcomed by the friendly staff, and was able to sit were we wanted was told about the play area outside which our boys loved. The food was Great and the steak was perfect. I would recommend The White Lion to any one after a lovely meal on there own or with the family.

So Thai at Leek

77-81 Haywood St, Leek ST13 5JH, UK – 01538 398686

Our favourite local restaurant, especially with the kids. Well cooked and really tasty selection.

Grest food, reasonable prices. Short of staff which made the waiting a little longer than you'd hope for.

Beyond The Pale

2 The Smithfield Centre, Leek ST13 5JW, UK – 01538 528892

Good vibe, nice cocktails (completely different to any other bar in leek) , however the seating is cramped and it gets very busy on the weekend

Great little place to go for a fab selection of drinks. Cosy setting.

Leek Bar & Grill

23 Getliffe’s Yard, Derby Street, Leek ST13 6HU, UK – 01538 382812

We went as a group of 18 to celebrate the night before my daughter's wedding and the birthday of one of the bridesmaid's. We had chosen from the menu beforehand, even changing the selection. Nothing was to much bother. We had taken a birthday cake which was presented with candles and singing! The food was delicious, arrived when we wanted, staff were friendly and pleasant. We sat out in the courtyard - apologies to the other diners if we were too loud! Would recommend this restaurant.

Lovely location , very welcoming and friendly , ambient atmosphere , great service food was amazing , deffinately reccomend 😊

Red Lion

7 Market Pl, Leek ST13 5HH, UK – 01538 388652

Had a very nice meal. We went on a week day evening and it was fairly quiet. Food was really good and service was quick. Prices quite reasonable and there was a 2 for £12 offer on selected mains. Will go again.

The food was okay, glad I had a side order otherwise would have still been hungry. The beer was again okay but there wasn't much choice and no strong bitters or IPA 's. The service was decent enough.

Leek Chinese Restaurants

Laurel Inn Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

3-4 The Smithfield Centre, Leek ST13 5JW, UK – 01538 388185

Good value food, but incredibly salty. Authentic Chinese furniture and decor. We have been eating in here about two or three times each year for many years. Lately it always seems to be very quiet. We will have to stop eating here unless they do something about the excess salt; we are so thirsty afterwards that it is off-putting.

We had a great time! Food was great and the service was very great. We all had the Buffet, which was excellent. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Another jewel in Leek! 👍 Will certainly be going back there again! 👌

Chinese Gourmet Take Away

121 Mill St, Leek ST13 8EU, UK – 01538 388198

There food does not disappoint. This is the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Their beef is so tender. We tried the chef spicy beef as recommended and it was amazing. You need to try their food.

Lots of choice for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. Consistently great flavour and good sized portions.

China Garden

18 Haywood St, Leek ST13 5JX, UK – 01538 384071

On holiday here for the week and thought we would give it a go....so glad we did by far the best chinese takeaway we have had in a long time

Leek Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

White Hart Tearoom & B&B Leek

1 - 3 Stockwell St, Leek ST13 6DH, UK – 01538 372122

I stayed here with my family last weekend. There were 8 of us altogether. We were made to feel very welcome. Lovely clean rooms with en-suite and breakfast is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be staying again.

We love white Hart. Come every week. Normally fridays for lunches. We have breakfast too. With the kids matty loves picking his own breakfast. And bets loves the strawberry milkshakes. Lovely attentive staff. Lovely menus. Just one niggle the sausages are a little small on the breakfasts

The Penguin

4 Sheep Market, Leek ST13 5HW, UK – 01538 528139

Lovely little place with friendly staff. Japanese food served very fresh produce. Delightful

Good coffee & food. Service a little slow.

The Reform Inn

Anchors Lane, Thorncliffe, Leek ST13 7LP, UK – 01538 300325

Steaks are butifull but the chips are greasy!! Make your own decisions when you go. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. Over very good but the chips are poor.

Service was good and friendly, food was alright. Burger was too dry, the sea bass was alright. Tempura vegetables starter was not the light batter I was expecting thinking it would be tempura batter in a Japanese restaurant. It was more a fish and chip shop batter which was thick and overly greasy. I would give it a 3.5 but to be fair there was some effort towards providing a good meal and good service.

The Abbey Inn

Abbey Green Rd, Leek ST13 8SA, UK – 01538 382865

Just visited the Abbey inn. Abbey green road leek. What a charming pub. Sat outside on the patio and had lunch. Very nice. Proprietor very friendly and sociable. Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic pub in the quiant village of Abbey Green just outside of Leek. We took an anti-clockwise walk from the town and ended up here before walking back to Leek. Very nice beer garden at the front and dog friendly. Good selection of food at reasonable prices. Doom Bar and a Cheshire ale on cask, the latter being very good (one or two more choices would have been perfect). Service was warm and friendly. Overall highly recommended, especially for walkers!
