We stayed for 2 nights during the Leek Blues and Americana festival. The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was of a high standard and we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel. The location is perfectly situated in the centre of Leek, with ample parking and yet inside it is quiet and peaceful.

Lovely hotel excellent value for money. Clean smelt like new. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food great rooms lovely and beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly and welcoming family the breakfast was amazing and although there was no WiFi in the outside rooms we were able to go to the breakfast room if we required to use WiFi but tbh it wasn't a problem for us would definitely stay here again as well as recommend to others

Leek Pubs, Gastro Pubs and Bars

The Abbey Inn

Abbey Green Rd, Leek ST13 8SA, UK – 01538 382865

Just visited the Abbey inn. Abbey green road leek. What a charming pub. Sat outside on the patio and had lunch. Very nice. Proprietor very friendly and sociable. Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic pub in the quiant village of Abbey Green just outside of Leek. We took an anti-clockwise walk from the town and ended up here before walking back to Leek. Very nice beer garden at the front and dog friendly. Good selection of food at reasonable prices. Doom Bar and a Cheshire ale on cask, the latter being very good (one or two more choices would have been perfect). Service was warm and friendly. Overall highly recommended, especially for walkers!

Red Lion

7 Market Pl, Leek ST13 5HH, UK – 01538 388652

Had a very nice meal. We went on a week day evening and it was fairly quiet. Food was really good and service was quick. Prices quite reasonable and there was a 2 for £12 offer on selected mains. Will go again.

The food was okay, glad I had a side order otherwise would have still been hungry. The beer was again okay but there wasn't much choice and no strong bitters or IPA 's. The service was decent enough.

The Valiant

3 Stanley St, Leek ST13 5HG, UK – 01538 398492

Our regular haunt for a weekend treat. The full English breakfast is superb and is great value for money. The black pudding is the best I've eaten at any cafe across the country. The White Hart has a lovely cosy feel and the whole team are friendly and proficient. Well worth a visit.

Leek Campsites and Caravan Parks

Leek Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Blackshaw Grange, Blackshaw Moor, Leek ST13 8TL, UK – 01538 300285

Very clean and well kept grounds.Extremely helpful and friendly staff.Great location,a great place to go if you want a peaceful camping experience. The sight is large enough to enjoy your own space but also small enough to enjoy the company of fellow campers. Can't wait to go back again soon.

Very pleasant well kept site. Situated off main Leek to Buxton road. Two shower/toilet blocks. Nice and clean but only two showers and toilets ( 2 ladies and 2 men) in each. I had no issues but the site was quiet. Nearest pub The Three Horseshoes a 10 min walk along flat road with narrow pavement . A nice pub but food slightly dearer than average. Lots of walks from site and nearby. A friendly site. We enjoyed our stay.
